Tribal Princess

18 Aug

This gorgeous shoot was the result of 3 artists, blending their work to create one outcome: exquisite beauty.

Charo Galura (model) was born & raised in Italy with her roots tracing back to the Philippines.  The first look is inspired by the warmth of the tribal Princess with the gold resembling wealth. The second look is tribal simplicity on a fierce face.

Thanks again to the master behind the Irish lens, Brian O’Sullivan.

Pearls: The object of Beauty

29 Jul

It was a Friday morning when I found myself in the kitchen of the very talented photographer, Brian O’Sullivan.

Whilst drinking tea & having laughs about industry stories, I got to know this Irish lad with a love for photography. www.brianosullivanphotography.com

Model: Anastasia

My inspiration for the shoot: Pearls – classical, rare, beauty.

What a great shoot on a rainy day in London!

The absolutely gorgeous Natalie Taylor couldn’t be more of a trooper giving Steve natural & warm poses whilst the icy wind & rain tried to crash our party!

AOFM Masterclass: Michelle Webb, Beauty Editor of Elle & St. Tropez

26 May

The day started off with champagne & canapés as everyone shared their latest make up work & some gossip in between!

Michelle’s first look was more natural with little glass mirrors glued over the eyebrows – catwalk ready!

Her second look she started with the eyelids, applying greasepaint with a free hand in all the colours of the rainbow. She then continued on the neck with acrylic paints to carry through the theme. Finished with a coral lip – absolutely amazing!

The end of AOFM & the start of new & colourful beginnings…

10 May

Welcome to the world of a Freelance Make Up Artist!!!

As I graduated proudly from AOFM (Academy of Freelance Make Up), I was well aware of the hard work that lay ahead & am now experiencing it head-on…;)

Lets not kid around, how many girls like me absolutely love the art of creating gorgeous or very interesting & abstract faces!? But, it all boils down to the fact that YOU have got to make it happen in order to work the dream & ideas!

So, first things first – the hitlist is:

1.Train from the masterminds behind AOFM and learn from the most successful artists in the industry. http://www.aofmakeup.com/

2.Do a photo shoot with the legendary photographer, Fabrice Lachant, to kick off your portfolio.

3.Take a little holiday with your man around the Amalfi coast (and get engaged along the way!!!!!).

4.Blog about your work, their work, the industry, products and basically anything that interest you…

5.Ready, Set, GOOOOOooooo!!!!
